Outsourcing a workforce does not move the obligations off your desk unless somebody else takes them on in their own name. That is the part of this arrangement worth reading carefully, so this page sets out what we carry, under whose name it is filed, and what stays with you.
NSSF, PAYE, SDL and WCF
Every worker we place is engaged under a JAD Agency contract. Registration and monthly filing are done in our name, not yours, and cover the four statutory items that attach to a Tanzanian payroll:
- NSSF, the National Social Security Fund contribution
- PAYE, the income tax deducted at source
- SDL, the Skills and Development Levy
- WCF, the Workers Compensation Fund contribution
You receive one invoice. We hold the employer relationship, run the payroll behind it, and keep the filings current for the whole period a worker is on your site.
What this means in practice is that a labour inspection of the workers we supply is answered with our records, and a query about a contribution is ours to resolve.
OSHA and site safety
Nobody joins a live site without being inducted for it. Our supervisors run the pre-start sequence for every placement, and the crew is supervised for the duration of the contract rather than handed over at the gate.
Where your site has its own safety regime, ours defers to it. Where it does not, ours applies. Either way there is a named supervisor accountable for the crew, which is the part that keeps a placement intact after the first few weeks.
TANePS procurement
We are set up to be engaged through the Tanzania National e-Procurement System, so a public body can contract us through its normal procurement route rather than as an exception to it.
If you are tendering and need our particulars for a submission, ask and we will send the current set.
What stays with you
You direct the work. The task, the schedule, the standard of the output and day-to-day instruction on site remain yours, because they have to be. We supply and carry the workforce, not the job itself.
If something here does not match what your own advisors tell you, say so before you sign rather than after. We would rather adjust the arrangement than discover the gap later.
