JAD Agency Limited collects and uses personal data to recruit, employ, pay and supervise workers, and to answer enquiries from businesses. This notice explains what we hold, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to meet the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022.

What we collect - From candidates: your name, contact details, where you live, your trade, years of experience, and any CV you send us. - From businesses: your company name, a contact person, phone and email, the roles you need, headcount, site and start date. - From every visitor: a session identifier that keeps the site working, a record of your cookie choice, and, if you agree, your language and theme preference.
Why we hold it Candidate data is used to match you to open roles and, if you are placed, to employ and pay you. Business enquiries are used to prepare a quotation and to deliver the service. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it Applications are kept for two years from the date we receive them, so we can consider you for later roles. Employment records are kept for the period Tanzanian labour and tax law requires. Enquiries are kept for as long as the commercial relationship lasts, and for two years afterwards. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Who else sees it Where you are placed with a client, that client sees the details needed to admit you to site and supervise your work. Statutory bodies, including NSSF, the Tanzania Revenue Authority, WCF and OSHA, receive what the law requires. Nobody else receives your data unless you ask us to send it.
Cookies This site sets one cookie that is necessary for it to work at all, and records your cookie choice so you are not asked again. If you agree, it also remembers your language and theme. Nothing is used for advertising and nothing is shared with third parties. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Your rights Under the Personal Data Protection Act you may ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Write to info@jadagency.co.tz and we will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission.
Keeping it safe CVs and application data are stored outside the public website and are reachable only by JAD Agency staff who are signed in. Access is limited to those who need it to do their job.
